Infinity Roads

A map mod for BeamNG.drive. Real roads of Michigan, built from open map data, with signs, signals, traffic, weather and seasons.

What it is

Real roads

The roads, lanes, signs and signals come from OpenStreetMap, and the ground from USGS elevation data. The first area is a circle about 3.5 km across, around Fenton, Michigan.

The helper

A separate small program that builds more of the map. You can download a ready region, or, on a strong PC, let it build as you drive.

Weather and seasons

Set the weather and the season from the in-car screen, BeamPlay, which also links to the helper.

Online together testing

A private BeamMP server for supporters, with the same map, time of day and weather for everyone. It is being tested now.

New areas on request testing

Supporters will be able to ask for a new area to be built in the cloud. Each area is built once and shared with everyone.

Who makes it

Infinity Roads is a one-person project by Matthew Montney, still growing region by region. It is free to drive. Supporters on Patreon help pay for the server and the cloud building.

Infinity Roads is a fan-made mod. It is not made by, or connected with, BeamNG GmbH or the BeamMP project.
